Which in itself is a stunning place, inviting you in for the rest of the diving experience.  At the maximum depth of 10 meters, you will find many statues, reminiscent of ancient Greece and its mythology. 2. White River

Situated southeast of Paphos, White River is another great site for beginners. At a maximum depth of 11 meters, the location has a variety of attractions up its sleeve. From swim-throughs to a range of marine fauna, you can’t get bored. Oftentimes you can see plenty of grouper around, octopuses, as well as witness a sea turtle swim by your very eyes. If you’ve never dived before, this site may get you started on a journey of maritime exploration.

3. George’s Wall

Located just off the Akamas Marine Reserve, George’s Wall is a great dive spot for beginners as well as advanced divers. The wall goes down to the bottom depth of 40 meters, however, for beginner divers, it’s a great start to stay closer to the surface (around 10-20 meters maximum depth). The great visibility allows you to see everything around you, including the bottom end of the wall! Look into any crevice and you will find octopuses, moray eels, peacock worms, among many other kinds of marine life. The wall itself is full of fauna on the outside, with fish roaming around their habitat freely. This pick is a great spot for anyone who wants the full experience of open water and a fish frenzy.
