The Palace of Mon Repos – The renowned jewel of Corfu, the Palace of Mon Repos decorates the slopes of the Analipsis hill, where the town of Corfu (Paleopolis) thrived in the past. Frederick Adams, a British Commissioner built the palace in 1824 in the heart of a blossoming and extensive garden. Ever since it was built many high ranked individuals resided in the palace like Italian politicians, members of the Greek Royal Family, and numerous British Commissioners.

Achilleion Palace – Achilleion Palace, also known as the Palace of Sissy, is a well-maintained blast from the past. The luxury palace lies in Gastouri Village and was built in 1892 for the Empress of Austria, Elizabeth (Sissy). At present, the palace has been turned into a museum and the blossoming garden that surround it are decorated with impressive statues, like the statue of Achilles, which attracts many art lovers.

The Temple of Artemis -The Doric-style Temple of Artemis is an ancient structure made entirely by stone, attracting thousands to visit it in Garitsa. The temple was built in 580 BC and was dedicated to goddess Artemis, which in the past functioned as a sanctuary. The temple is especially significant, in terms of history, as it is the first to have integrated all the Doric architectural features.  The famed temple was built in a peripheral shape with a pseudo-dipteral form. Its rectangular parameter measured about 75 feet in width and 160 feet in length. It was built overlooking the east for ample of sunlight to enter the temple. During its time, the Temple of Aphrodite was one of the largest and most renowned. Today, its historical significance is greatly appreciated while it still attracts thousands of enthusiasts.
