Tombs of the Kings– this UNESCO Heritage Site is a burial ground where the tombs were carved into solid rock. The name of the ancient necropolis suggests kings were buried there, but in fact, it is where Paphian aristocrats were buried hundreds of years ago. The burial ground was given the name, the Tombs of the Kings, to highlight the artistry of the tombs.

Aphrodite’s Rock-was named after the Greek Goddess of Love and Beauty, Aphrodite, who has been closely linked to Paphos. In fact, it is said that all Paphians are descendants of the goddess. As legend has it, Aphrodite rose from the foam of the sea at exactly this spot. Folklore narrates that whoever swims around the sacred rock three times is blessed with eternal youth and beauty! Ayios Neophytos Monastery-visiting the monastery is a truly teleporting experience as it was founded in 1159 by a monk and writer named Neophytos. Till this day, monks reside within the walls of the monastery leading a religious and sacred life.
