The Dreamer’s Spot- Panigirakis Castle

The dominating Panigirakis Castle stands on a hilltop overlooking Chora, Mykonos whitewashed town. The flower and green-covered property resembles a natural mosaic floor with secluded bays, cobblestoned alleys and inspiring vistas.

While standing at the top, one can clearly see Mykonos’ neighbouring islands-Tinos, Syros and Delos- floating in the sparkling blue Aegean Sea. The best time to visit Panigirakis Castle is during sunsets, when the sky is transformed into an artist’s canvas where thousands of colours blend creating a remarkable sight. In the meantime, whitewashed Chora shines in the distance with its labyrinth-like lanes, white Cycladic buildings and breathtaking squares.

Panigirakis Castle has long been a favourite amongst dreamers, romantics, tourists and artists as well as photographers and filmmakers who seek to marvel at beauty and capture nature at its finest
