Significant distinctions for Louis Hotels at the Greek Hospitality Awards
A triple distinction -one gold, one silver, and one bronze medal- was the result for Louis Hotels at the 2018 Greek Hospitality Awards. The company keep on collecting distinctions within 2018 and highlighting its leading role in Cyprus and Greece’s tourism industry.
The Amada Colossos Resort gained the gold medal at the Best Greek New Resort category, following the complete reconstruction that took place at the hotel unit. Furthermore, Louis Hotels was awarded with the silver medal at the Best Greek Hotel Restaurant category for the Meze by Elliniko restaurant which is located at the Louis Zante Beach, while one more hotel of the company was awarded. It is worth mentioning that similar restaurant units are already operating at other hotel units of the company, as part of the Louis Hotels’ general strategy for local gastronomy promotion. More specifically, the bronze medal was awarded to Family Life Kerkyra Golf competing at the Best Family Resort category.

The award ceremony took place on Friday, the 23rd of February 2018, at the Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso. The Greek Hospitality Awards contest runs under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and, since years, rewards the excellency of the Greek hotel industry. The contest is being held by “Ethos Awards” and “Chrima” magazine since 2014.

“For Louis Hotels, 2018 has already been a dynamic season since this is the third in a row significant distinction for us in less than a two-month period. The prestige and the status of Greek Hospitality Awards add a special glitz to the three awards we got. On behalf of Colossos SA that owns Amada Colossos Resort, Mr. Aris Soulounias, CEO of the company, received the award and added: “This distinction is a reward for our gigantic efforts we made in order to complete and make true our vision for the reconstruction of Amada Colossos Resort. Numerous and endless working were required for this significant change. Now, the results speak for themselves”.
