Louis Group awarded honorary prize at the HHIC graduation ceremony in memory of Louis Loizou
Louis Group carried on the 20-year tradition of awarding the best hospitality and tourism management students. The Executive Director of Louis Group, Mr. Louis Loizou, presented an honorary money prize to a Higher Hotel Institute of Cyprus (HHIC) graduate student, distinguished for the performance during his studies.
The award was given to the student during the HHIC graduation ceremony, which took place at Filoxenia Conference Center, on Tuesday, 17th of July, at 8pm.
This prize has become a tradition and has been established in memory of the “Father of Cyprus Tourism” and founder of Louis Group, Louis Loizou.
Mr. Louis Loizou stated: “Education is an important factor and a key component for success in every sector, not only in the tourism & hotel field. Our 83-year experience in tourism and the unique legacy our founder left in the Cypriot tourism sector makes us feel proud every time we reward the performance of the best students of HHIC. They are the future of our industry”.
With this award, Louis Group motivates young people to keep up the hard work, while evolving the productive relationship between the Group and the Higher Hotel Institute of Cyprus.
