Lara Beach is a ragged-looking, natural beach which is found within the Akamas peninsula in Paphos. This beautiful bay is home to the Caretta Caretta turtles, which are protected in the area. Set off on a Wine Tour! One of our favourite wine tours is the Diarizos wine tour. While driving along Diarizos Valley, you will definitely be amazed by the natural landscapes and picturesque scenery you set your eyes on. Along the way, you will stop at different vineyards and sip on local wines! Compared to the other vineyards in Cyprus, Diarizos Valley is less well known since it is not set within the mountainous region of the island.  Nevertheless, the tour is equally impressive and an experience of a lifetime! Mingle with the locals, marvel at the beauty of the countryside and sip on the local wine! While touring you will pass many picturesque villages, where the locals still preserve the traditional way of life, so stop and explore the villages, marvel at the stone-made houses and stunning views. Ofto Kleftiko is a scrumptious meat dish made with chunks of lamb, potatoes and a mix of herbs. It is traditionally baked in ceramic pots, which is put in the outdoor stone ovens and left to bake for hours. Yummy!
