Zakynthos Shipwreck Cove

Zakyntho’s Shipwreck’s Cove is only accessible by boat but totally worth your visit! Also referred to as Smuggler’s Cove, the golden-white sandy stretch is encircled by towering limestone cliffs. The jaw-dropping bay was named Shipwreck in 1983 when according to the story Panayiotis Ship sunk to the bottom of the sea while transporting illegal cigarettes.

Most tourists are dazzled by the bays sheer beauty and simply enjoy lying on the golden stretch and swimming in the crystalline blue waters. Adrenaline junkies can jump off the cliffs as the cove is famous as being a top BASE jumping spot!
Crete’s Elafonissi

Crete’s Elafonissi is one of the most photographed bays in the world and for good reason. Elafonissi is renowned for being a small white-sand islet separated from the seashore by a lagoon. The mainland bay is renowned as one of the top most stunning bays across Crete owing to its soft-white sandy strip, shallow shimmering blue waters and amazing shells that cover every inch of the shoreline.

Visit Elafonissi Bay on a beautiful summer day and literally take a stroll from the shore to Elafonissi while soaking in the breathtaking vistas of the waters and Chrissoskalitissa Monastery in the background. Such views are hard to come by!
