ONCE IN MYKONOS: INNOVATIVE DINING CONCEPTS ROOTED IN TIME-HONOURED CYCLADIC CULINARY TRADITIONS

Gastronomic excellence and Mykonian lifestyle meet in the heart of Ornos Bay

Unmatched for its culinary and partying atmosphere, the Greek island of Mykonos delights epicureans with some of the finest Mediterranean and international cuisine. As the island celebrates the new summer season, adults-only Once in Mykonos welcomes gourmands with innovatively refreshed menus that blend Greek provenance with Mediterranean influences, accompanied by a series of world class musical performances.

Situated on the island’s beautiful southwest coastline, the luxury lifestyle resort celebrates the conviviality and flavours of the Aegean at its fine-dining Infinity Restaurant. Bearing the signature mark of distinguished cuisine, Louis Hotels’ Executive Chef Kyriakos Sotiriou menus focus on carefully sourced and refined Mediterranean cuisine while blending it with local notes. Signature dishes include hot and cold meze, grilled meats and seafood and exquisite desserts. Guests can also enjoy a breakfast of hot and cold favourites including various spreads, eggs, granola or a selection of cheeses and cured meat, overlooking the iconic Ornos Beach and tranquil ocean vista beyond.

For those that don’t want to stray too far from the pool, a menu of small plates, with adaptations of classic pool-side dishes are available; as the sun turns to dusk, the space transforms into a night-time hotspot with live music, regular DJ performances and magnetic pool parties. Previously welcoming the likes of  world-renowned songwriter, producer and artist, Xenia Ghali, Once in Mykonos hosted their first pool party with VIP influencers in June, bringing the heat to Mykonos and Ornos Bay.

Against the backdrop of the spectacular Aegean sunsets, the vibrant Infinity Bar serves up theatrical cocktails by a team of creative mixologists. Guests can expect reinvented classics with a Greek twist starting with a fresh Greek Mule with Mastiha liqueur, indulging Red Velvet Martinis using homemade cherry red wine to captivating Garden of Eden cocktails using all natural fig purée and citrus cordial. The mixologists at Once in Mykonos have gone above and beyond in creating a selection for all with innovative mocktails using fresh mandarin juice, mastique water, agave syrup and more.

Kyriakos Sotiriou, Executive Chef of Louis Hotels and Deputy President of the Cyprus Chef’s Association has been tasked with overseeing the resort’s acclaimed menu. Sotiriou brings a wealth of experience from Michelin and fine dining restaurants, as well as an unparalleled passion for Mediterranean flavours and deep-rooted knowledge of the region’s ingredients, techniques and cultural heritage. His vision is to wow diners’ palates at Once in Mykonos with authentic flavours that celebrate the spirit of the Greek island, from the vibrant colours of the Greek salad to the irresistible aroma of freshly baked halloumi cheese, every bite transports diners to the sun-drenched shores.

Throughout the 2023 season, guests at Once in Mykonos can choose from a plethora of enriching experiences highlighting Mykonos’ rich culture and natural beauty, from private yacht charters to the island’s hidden coves and neighbouring islands, Delos and Rineia, to diving among underwater ruins that date back to the Ancient Greek Empire.
