Two Top Museums you Must-Visit when in Limassol

The Folk Art Museum displays an inspiring collection of Cyprus’ Folk Art. The display reveals the island’s folklore history and includes examples of art, traditions, trade, culture and society. The museum’s inspiring collection includes artefacts dating from 400 till 1870 AD, attracting the interest of the tourists every year.

The museum’s inspiring display includes armour, tombstones, paintings, sculptures, statues, 17th-18th century wood carvings as well as pottery made during the Ottoman period. Upon entering the museum’s Grand Hall, you will find an exquisite exhibit of black and white pictures depicting Cyprus’ Byzantine sites.
