Cavo Greco National Park, Ayia Napa

An ideal location for adoring the atmospheric coasts of Cape Greco and Ayia Napa. This climbing spot features more than 180 climbing routes, six of which are traditional and the most popular choice among climbers. The best part is diving into the cool water after a sweat-induced climb to the top.

Home to some of the best climbing routes on the island, Gerakopetra has an oasis of climbing options to choose from. We would recommend getting a local climbing tour guide to give you the best option from all the ones available. The main natural attraction in this area is the famous Lara Bay and the stunning Akamas Peninsula.

Around Gerakopetra, there are about 50 more routes, all within walking distance. Overall, the Droushia/Ineia area in Paphos district is perfect for sports and traditional climbing, such as Alikou, Koneftis and Kokkinovraxos.

Dhiarizos – Kourtelorotsos , Limassol – Paphos

For climbers, this may be a pain or it may simply be just “part of the experience”, nevertheless this climbing area in Cyprus lets you get in the shade during your climb! How? You may be asking. Because of its unique characteristic, Dhiarizos splits into several sectors, allowing exposure to different angles at which you can face the sun while climbing. Enjoy the shade and choose from 65 well-bolted sports routes and one bouldering route near Dhiarizos River.

Xeros Valley (Panagia tou Sindi) , Paphos

Near Paphos you can find one of the most pleasant climbing experiences on the island. Overlooking the valley of the flowing Xeros River, are 12 quality sports routes scattered across the various rocks situated in the area. This option is ideal for experienced climbers who want to take in the magnificent views of the valley and not necessarily figure out techniques or try out as a first-timer.
