Koupes – The absolute street food

As with anything Cypriot, Koupes incorporate an amazing grouping of flavours and are among the most popular foods on the island.

A scrumptious street dish, usually enjoyed at a street vendor or bakery; these tasty treats are usually eaten on the go.

Koupes usually come with two different fillings, which are encased in a crust that is shaped like a sausage. The stuffings are usually either minced meat and parsley or mushrooms.

A wonderful addition to your daily eating repertoire, they go brilliantly with some morning tea or coffee, or can simply be enjoyed as a snack during any time of the day.
