The family started producing wines in 2007. Today they have expanded into a huge enterprise, producing 150,000 bottles of wine each year. The winery now offers not only tours and tastings but also a dining experience in their phenomenal restaurant. A perfect complement with their wine.
Old Venetian Harbour
One of the most popular destinations for tourists from across the world, the Old Harbor of Chania is full of quaint streets, inviting establishments and stunning Venetian architecture. Frangokastello Fortress
One of the most important historical monuments on the island. The Frangokastello Fortress was built between 1371 and 1374 to serve as a military base for the Venetian army. During those days pirate attacks were common and this was a way to create a defense for Crete. Even though the fortress was originally built by the Venetians, today the buildings and fortifications that reside inside of the fortress are of Ottoman origin and date back to the 17th century. Another monument to the eclectic history of Chania and Crete itself.
