Blue Caves
The Blue caves, nestled on the eastern side of Schinari Cape, are without a doubt a top attraction across all of Greece. The caves were geologically formed as a result of erosion and their sheer beauty is captivating. The glowing waters mirror the colour of the blue sky which reflected on the surface of the caves creating a breathtaking spectacle. The largest cave is named Cyanoun Spilaio (Cyanoun Cave). The Blue Caves are only accessible by boat and it is recommended to visit this spectacular landmark during the early morning hours or just before sunset so as to admire their beauty at their peak.

Navagio Beach
One of the hottest must-see landmarks throughout the world is Zante’s very own Navagio Beach or otherwise known as Shipwreck. The beach is said to be the most photographed beach in Greece, decorating the western coast of the island, lying beneath Volimes Village. According to the story, in 1983, an illegal pirate ship carrying stolen treasure was washed off the shore. Other say, the ship was carrying illegal cigarettes and sunk while it was being pursued by the authorities. During the years that followed the sand swallowed up the ancient ship, leaving parts of its body exposed, creating a dramatic contrast with the sparkling crystalline waters and white-golden sandy bay.3. Laganas Beach
Laganas Beach is amongst the most popular and vibrant beaches on the island. The golden bay stretches for approximately five kilometres providing beach jetsetters with soft golden-brown sands and crystalline blue waters. The most unique feature of Laganas Beach is that it is part of the National Marine Park, which works towards protecting the Caretta-Caretta sea turtles which travel to the particular bay to nest their eggs. Visitors have the one-in-a-million opportunity to meet the rare species up close by taking a boat tour! Furthermore, the beach is also famed for its water sports, a true plus for the more adventurous lot! Surrounding Laganas Beach, visitors enjoy the numerous beach bars, restaurants and traditional tavernas that dot the coastline.
