2 New Hotspots in Chania

The coastal town of Chania has long attracted the crowds to its bustling centre thanks to the lively clubs and bars as well as charming café that dot the harbour. Currently, two new areas adjacent to the harbour area have made their way to the top. Meet the newest hotspots of Chania!

chaniaThe newest hotspot, Neoria is found next to the Old Town and the picturesque Old Harbour. Neoreia boasts with tiny bars, cafes as well as restaurants and traditional taverns attracting the locals and tourists alike. The Venetians built Neoreia using an arch-like architectural style. Neoreia served as a shipbuilding where Venetian fleets were repaired.

kapiKoum Kapi is also adjacent the Old Harbour and Old Town of Chania, just passed the Ottoman Mosque. The inspiring promenade overflows with small cafes, trendy bars as well as taverns. Upon nightfall, most of the bars and cafes turn into lively clubs making it a hotspot amongst the youth.

At first, Koum Kapi was the area where the Bedouins from North Africa settled. Currently, the area has been transformed into a popular area with lots to see and do.
